Fifteen years ago a rift between the living world and the spirit world, known as the Fade, was ripped open leaving a maelstrom of horror in the sky. Spirits began to pour from the breach in the form of demons. Cities were destroyed, thousands of people were lost, and all hoped seemed lost. That was until three heroes and their army known as the Inquisition took a stand against this evil and attempted to stop the corruption at its source. However, they vanished when the continent needed them most, and now, nearly two decades later is where our story begins.
