Prosperity Bay
Geography
Prosperity Bay is the end destination for the three jeweled sister rivers but it is also sometimes referred to as the Jeweled Sea, poets have become enamored with the nickname since the series of ballads "Jades, Juggernauts and Justice" by Djano the Feathered Bard became widely popular referred to for how it sparkles in the sunset, other's claim the nickname is due to it being the commercial trading hub for the three rivers and Zamarrid and how gem trade flourished in the imperium.
Fauna & Flora
Zooidmungatis (zoo-id-mun-gan-tis)
Nicknamed an ocean web, This creature made of thousands of different organism each specialized for different purposes, together they make a large discus with connective organisms between them often giving them a web like appearance that makes a waving motion as it travels along currents. They can appear along the water's surface, and when it does it is recorded that vessels or other organism along its edges become gentle repeatedly nudged toward its center. Sailors have reported they didn't notice the change until a semi transparent pearl shapes in the water became visible, those unable to regain control of their ship would soon hear a rumbling sound as they came closer to the center and once at the center a loud crack would fill the air the organisms at the center of the Zooidmungatis would in a unified manner suck in all air in a space leaving the original area dead of air for a brief moment creating its defining thunderous cracking sound and then the air would be released shattering whatever was above it. The remains of whatever was destroyed would be dragged down by smaller tendrils about 2-3 feet in length and digested and nutrients would dispersed throughout the colony.

History
Prosperity bay has a morose history, battles and skirmished between the merfolk and the imperium continue to this day. The imperium has be particularly relentless and abhorrent, the merfolk caves that had lived for centuries along the water ways have been slaughtered. The few that remaining merfolk tribes are secretive and have remained mostly in isolation, the imperium claims that the damage to the merfolk is marginal at best that most have just swam deeper into the sea and no longer affect shipping lanes.
