The Animaterial
The animaterial is a strange creature, one that is believed to be a mistake in Artuko's creation. The Animaterial is a strange goat-like, tentacled creature. It uses a compound called Tricolate to perform telekinesis and to make a 360-degree shield of small objects like daggers, pottery, shields, books, and branches. Depending on how the tricolate is burned, the surrounding area is manipulated in some way, in other words, telekinesis.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The body of The Animaterial is protected by a large number of rib-like tentacles when it is not provoked. When provoked, the tentacles unwrap and try to grab onto and strangle anything near to it. The Triscolate deposits are located on the body and can be burned to throw small objects at intruders.
Biological Traits
An adult Animaterial is normally about 6 feet tall and hovers about a foot off the ground, making the creature more intimidating and less likely for anything to attack the Animaterial.
Ecology and Habitats
The normal habitat of Animaterials are usually caves or areas tainted by dark magic.
Additional Information
Average Intelligence
An average Animaterial knows how to use telekinesis and how to survive in general from creation. However, some Animaterials are even able to communicate telepathically with other beings!
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The eyes and head of the Animaterial are under thick natural armor plating with three slits for the eyes. The Animaterial hears through its horns, where it's ear canal is located.
