The Algorian Military

The Algorian Military is a combat force controlled by the Algorian government, especially Tarkas Irly, the supreme ruler of Algos.

Assets

There are a total of 8,000 soldiers and militiamen recruited in the Algorian Military. 4,000 of these are recruited militiamen, 2,000 are hired infantry, 500 are professional calvary, 500 are professional archers, and the last 1,000 are professional and specialized soldiers. These last 1,000 each have specialized roles in combat (healer, supporter, tank, sniper, etc.)

Algorian Swordbreaker

The Algorian Swordbreaker is a specialty weapon used by the Algorian Military. The The Algorian Swordbreaker is a dagger or shortsword that had large, deep serrations or indentations along one side of the blade, resembling the barbed teeth of a comb and designed to entrap an opponent's blade, allowing a variety of follows up for the wielder. In rare conditions, an Algorian Swordbreaker was actually able to snap an opponent's blade off the handle or simply break the blade in half.

Strategies

The standard equipment for members of the Algorian Military sheds some light on the combat strategies of this army. The Algorian Military fights using classic medieval strategies, but with a twist. Using classic long and short swords, Algorian soldier are extremely powerful at range. When an opponent gets close, these warriors' barbed armor protects them. This spiked armor allows damage dealt to Algorian warriors to be dished back at the attacker.

The Blink Barracks

The Blink Barrack from the outside appears to be a large circular tent with a radius of about 15 feet, and the interior looks like a standard base of operations for warring maneuvers, but the Blink Barracks has a special trick up its sleeve. It can teleport the tent and everything it contains up to a mile away every 20 minutes. Obviously this is not the fastest way of travelling, but commanding officers can continue to make preparations and plan out their movements while still continuing to travel at a decent pace. The Blink Barracks have also been used offensively in rare cases. When the barracks are teleported straight into other matter, it causes that matter to spontaneously combust now that too many molecules are crammed into one space. Therefore, the barracks can obliterate, or "telefrag" anything that it teleports directly into, including enemy soldiers, heavy siege weapons, or even the wall of a keep or castle. This can provide insane tactical possibilities, both offensively and defensively, as commanding officers can escape danger by teleporting away using the Barracks.
