Personal history
Absolom was born into a high-class home in Ozryn, the capital of The Order. When he was barely 6, however, his parents were assassinated for an unknown reason. He was then apprenticed by a noble by the name of Matthew Pelagius until he came of age and traveled west against Pelagius' better judgment. He had decided that he wished to see the frontier and "spread the influence of industry" to the western reaches of the Order. He settled in Troth, campaigned for Mayor, and won by a landslide against everyone's expectations.
Education
Absolom learned in the Hall of Order, the ruling committee over the Order. There he learned how to be a just and wise ruler. However, many of his instructors continually commented on the fact that he "already knew what they were going to teach them."
Mental Trauma
Absolom is still shaken by his parents' death. He carries a locket belonging to his mother on his person at all times, which contains a small sprig of rosemary.
