Nithlim

The Nithlim are lost souls that are bound to the will of The Shadowman.

They had been lost in the void of Between until he called to them and bound them to his will. They can take the forms of shadow hounds or birds. The Shadowman uses them to track down and kill his enemies, specifically people of power. They kill by draining warmth, life and hope from their victims. Although shadowy in form, they have substance and mass and can inflict physical injuries.

The Nithlim cannot be killed as they already dead. No one has yet found a way to defeat them.
