Session 29 - Curing the Plague, Some Downtime & the Ritual Completes

The Plagued Demons attack but are swiftly dispatched. Zan, upset that his Mother has been kidnapped, can do nothing but wait.

Over the course of a week, the group continues their tasks and stays at Zan's house. Glinxsy becomes the self-appointed "housekeeper", but has a nasty habit of stealing on the side. The Priest, Gerald Whitely, is spotted meeting with a hooded Xaphia. Gildar completes the work on his new weapon, a magical warhammer. Zan, with the help of Fendan, manages to make enough of the cure and Tergaron is freed from the Black Smile, as is Brenlazar.

On the evening of the 29th, as everyone is settled in, sudenly there is a disturbance. A vast magical wave washes over the place, and as the group rush to the window, they see a pillar of light coming from the direction of the Abandoned Manor. Xaphia's ritual is complete.

Moments later, a figure appears near the fireplace, translucent and made of magic. Inzeth, Jaxxon's foster-father, and professor at Southdale Society of Magic, appears in an astral projection. He warns the group that a vast Zombie horde, made up of the refugees outside of Southdale, has sudenly all turned and marched south - straight towards Tergaron.

The party grabs their gear and heads out in to the night...
