The Academy

Based within the City of Southdale within the Dalarn Lowlands , The Academy is an organisation of learning and knowledge. Many individuals from across Arden seek to join the ranks of The Academy to learn and improve their knowledge and skills, and the many lecturers and professors have a vast collective knowledge of all aspects of the world.

Officially founded in the year 564 AF, The Academy encompasses a large part of Northern Southdale, with many buildings given over to the study and teachings of various subjects. There are also several Halls given over for both teachers and students to live in, staying on the campus for many years to study.

To become a student at The Academy is not available to everyone, and the selection process is typically based on donations. For this reason, the majority of students come from Noble famillies and the wealthier traders of Arden.
