Other Religions found in Arden

The Holy Light is the primary religion of Arden, and worship of other deities or idols is typically prohibated within the borders. This has not kept older religions from being present still, and many citizens secretly pray to other, lesser-known Gods and Goddesses throughout the land.

The Old Ways

It is not known the true origins of many of the lesser religions of Arden. These mostly stem from before the Kingdom was founded, and have been passed down from generation to generation throughout the years. With the increase of the influence of the Church of the Holy Light, it is a dangerous time for those following these ancient ways to do so publicly.

The Great Wolf - The Hunter, Packmaster, Lord of the Wilds.
The Spirit Bear - The Protector.
Cifgral, the Raven - The Silent Shadow, Watcher of the Dead.
The Wanderer - God of Luck and Trickery.
Gorsarrf, the Sea Serpant - The Bringer of Storms and the patron of Sailors.
The Earth Mother - She Who Watches Over the Land, The Great Healer, The Spirit of the Forests.
Marwolaeth - The All-Knowing, The Begining and the End of All, God of Knowledge.
Amser, the Timekeeper - The Constant Changer, The God of Time.
Dhitris the Harvester - Lord of the Harvest and patron to Farmers.
Crowley - Lord of Trade and patron to Merchants.
