Midwood Forest

This small forest lies on the Midwood River, and is used by both Middlewood and Milltown as a source of lumber. With the east side of the forest being given over to lumber camps, trees are cut down and replanted on a yearly basis.

Many wild creatures can be found within the forest, and hunting is prohibited except by those given permission by the House of Fields. Guards often patrol Midwood Forest, keeping routes clear and an eye out for any dangerous beasts that may have come in to the forest.

In recent years, Gnolls have been spotted using the forest as a camp, hiding deep within and sending out raids on the local populace.
