Legends say that it was the First Gods that created Varda, sculpted it as they saw fit. Then a great war of the heavens all but destroyed what remained of those ancient and powerful beings. Varda lived on, the mortal races forging their own paths, praying to Gods that may or may-not exist. As centuries progress, kingdoms and empires rise and fall. Heroes are born and ultimately die, and the energies of the Weave continue eternally, the last traces of what may have once been. But not all is as it seems, as Dark Powers beyond the Material Realm ebb and flow, and the whispers of the Old Ones reach in to the world once again...
