Saint Gih is considered by some to be the first saint, having been imbued by magic that he then used to turn the tide in the fight against the gods. There is no one agreed upon way he gained his magic, but one story, The Peace of Saint Gih, attributes it to the magical properties of a pool in the woods of the goddess Belameh.
