Tulipfeather

What a weird type of fey! Quite rare too. Tulipfeather is an aquatic fey creature, one called a Nixie. In their natural state, nixies are blue skinned, with tails, gills, sharp teeth and claws. They have the ability to transform into a humanoid form, with some caveats; these forms are constantly wet, as if they've just left the water. They also have a hard time seeing in the air (Ive heard that some use special glass to fix this, but Im new at this). They also have minor mastery over water, being able to move it around at will if they choose to.   The true power of Nixies is from their kiss; legends say that if a nixie kisses their true love, they would turn into a nixie and live the rest of their lives together. This is nonsense; magic doesn't limit itself to just romantic compatibility like that. At its basics, the kiss of a Nixie can make anyone aquatic if they touch water immediately after the kiss, being able to swim and breathe in water easily. This transformation lasts for about 8 hours, or until the person becomes dry (whichever one happens first). This makes Nixie Spit (a gross magical ingredient, frankly) quite valuable, and many have been hunted and killed to fuel the magical industry behind them (never mind the fact that they're sentient people, apparently??? Some people are awful, aren't they).   Well anyways, Tulipfeather is pretty nice. She used to live near Lesima, in some tiny lake, but she was hunted down and chased. She ran away to the wolves in Welton, where she was then helped by the gang. They helped her find a new place! Very sweet of them to do.   Afterwards they found her old place in search of clues of who attacked her. They found some weird glyphs, and some traps set for in case she came back to her old place. Thank Titania she knew better!
