Dear Diary,
Today was another great day! Zeinab and I had a bit of a long trek over to Kelathar, but we finally made it! We found this really neat tavern to stay in called "The Fire Flower Tavern." It was our first time in a tavern, so we were really enjoying the atmosphere. A bunch of interesting people came in after us, so I gave them all pamphlets! Most of them didn't really seem interested in the pamphlets but that's okay, there's always next time. :)
After talking to everyone, there was this great, big noise from outside. I remember when talking to Therion, he mentioned something cool he had made that was outside. It was a giant metal owlbear (or that's what they said it was anyway, I've never seen one before). He wasn't wrong about it being cool, but it was also really mad and attacked him! I knew that wasn't good, so I rushed in to help. I did feel bad about hitting it, though. :(
Once the battle was finished (sorry again, Therion) we went back inside to finish our meals. I bought Honey some more fish because she seemed really upset. Honey is really sweet, I hope we can become good friends!
Zeinab and I finished eating and went to bed. I'd say it was a good first day out on our own! I hope my mom isn't too worried.
