Father Threllin
Father Threllin Orshak
Threllin Orshak was raised in the Church of the Unsung God and became a member of the Flagellants when he came of age. Not much is known about his childhood, though his followers have created a variety of myths and stories that have made any effort at creating a history of the New God impossible.
He joined the Flagellants at a time of great upheaval in the organization. While a break-away faction sought to leave the Church and become an independent organization, he put his lot in with the Church and led an armed movement to suppress dissent.
Threllin was successful, and as a result he was rewarded greatly with ranks and titles both among the Flagellants and the Church itself. He was found to have an inherent connection to the flow of magic, healing himself and strengthening himself without conscious effort. This was believed to be the result of a blessing placed on his bloodline (of which he was the sole survivor) by the Unsung God: the more he sacrificed, the more perfect he became.
When this came to the attention of the Flagellants, they began to venerate him, establishing him as a New God. The Church of the Unsung God, though leery of adopting deities into their pantheon, accepted the living god into their midst and sanctioned his worship.
Although Threllin rarely stirs forth from the massive complexes of the Church of the Unsung God, he is one of few gods to have a physical form, and he is a powerful opponent.
His symbol is a drop of blood falling onto stone.
