The Devastation

Though there is much lore and mythology surrounding this event, it's effects on the world were catastrophic. Where once their had been two moons, now there was only one and the shattered remnants of the other forming a bright ring around the world. It also brought about the total annihilation of the Aluthai's great civilization, and created the Tears, rips in the fabric between the Mortal Realm and the Sear where wild magic runs rampant. Some legends say it was one of the Aluthai who caused this terrible calamity, while others suggest a war between the gods.
