Japseth (Japp-Seth)
Japseth , The Eagle of Dawn
Worshippers: Scholars, wizards, teachers, students, Daskari nobility
Religious lore often speaks of Japseth as being a leader among the eight Great Divines, and indeed, in Daskar where he is known as Jathet, he is considered first among equals. Though in some places this designation is challenged by worshippers of Aktuul, all recognize the Eagle of Dawn and his influential priesthood as an integral part of society, particularly in Daskar where they run most universities and count their worshippers among the highest nobility and royalty.
Followers of Japseth tend to work well with those of harmonious Labreth, but relations with worshippers of oft tyrannical Aktuul are cool at best, and they are vehemently opposed to the secrecy of Nealoth.

Tenets of Faith
Worshippers of Japseth tend to perform their rituals at dawn, facing the rising run as they speak their prayers to be blessed with knowledge and success for the day's endeavours. Priests of Japseth often take positions as teachers, whether it be in a small town schoolhouse or a grand university in one of Daskar's great cities. Others call upon Japseth's blessings when performing tasks that rely on mental acuity, hoping that he will grant them the clarity of thought needed to perform well.
