No doubt of a similar origin to that of the Griffons, Hippogriffs are slightly more rare in most parts of the world. They are also sometimes used as mounts, particularly in Daskar where they are favoured over Griffons due to their somewhat relative ease for taming. They are also dangerous predators in the wild, though not as ferocious as Griffons.
