The Emperor Eternal is the ruler of Daskar, and has been for the last three centuries, coinciding with the greatest expansion of the Empire. The Emperor resides in their great palace in Jathis, however they are almost never seen by any but their inner circle of advisors, with the face of the government being filled by the position of the Grand Vizyr. On important occasions the Emperor may leave the palace, but will always do so in a covered palanquin through which none can see their face. It is unknown whether the Emperor is may or female, as that information is not public, though they are typically addressed using both male and neutral terms.
