Mellowaspen Tree

The Mellowaspen tree is a tree commonly found throughout eastern Teleuce. It was known for blending into the snow, much like the Ironbirch trees.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Mellowaspen Trees have smooth, white bark and yellow leaves. This helps them through the winter, protecting them from animals that would dig holes in them to hibernate.

Ecology and Habitats

The Mellowaspen trees spend most of their life surrounded by the snow of eastern Teleuce. Their sap, however, possesses a warming liquid, that prevents them from freezing to death from the inside out.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Mellowaspen trees are found throughout eastern Teleuce, though some have been found in the colder regions of The Splinterlands, such as by the Overcast Crags.

Mellowaspen Trees are white, which enables them to disguise themselves within the snow, and have yellow feathers, which they shed during the winter.
