The Order of Mont-em-ha: A.K.A. The Sandriders
The not well known but once great force, The Order of Mont-em-ha is now comprised sell swords, old veterans, debtors, criminals and former slaves. This occupation is quite taxing on the mind, body and soul as these soldiers spend many hours in the lonely desert under the hot sun or the high peaks of the Sandstone Mountains with blistering sandy winds withering away the isolated castles. The Oath of Endless Sand binds these warriors to a life time of servitude to the Order of Mont-em-ha in order to keep their members from deserting the order. Members of the order do have some down time to visit the valley and spend their earnings or send their earnings to family members. General Mansour Bishara is the current Commander of Mont-em-ha. He has served as Commander of Mont-em-ha for the last 59 years. The Order was originally founded to rid Orus of evil deities, beings and servants of dark gods that lurk in the shadows and right below our noises. Since then the Order of Mont-em-ha has two main jobs, The Riders and the Keepers. The Riders spend a lot of time out side of the Valley of Orus in the vast desert wastelands protecting Orus' boarders, doing scouting missions, tracking down fugitives and the like. The Keepers do maintenance on the Order's castle, craft weapons and armor, collect food, collect horses but most importantly collect men. The third and more specialized jobs are those of the Hunters. The hunters are lead by Commander Koakrut, a half-orc with a fiery distaste for those who dishonor their oath.
