Uroisdeoss is a literal abomination. Formerly an ancient silver dragon, and mate of Hildrith; he achieved undeath centuries ago and has remained hidden since then. A hunted being, he knows quite well Hildrith seeks him out and will attempt to destroy him if found. Traveling at night while above ground to his vast lairs across the realms, he continuously must move to avoid being found. Each of his lairs is protected by undead using his ability to see thru their undeath to confirm the area is safe.

Personal history

Uroisdeoss was once a noble warrior who achieved peace and justice wherever he went. He fell in love with Hildrith of the Eternal Lament while an adult and was a devoted mate to her, until their twilight years. After living for over a millennia, Uroisdeoss couldn't accept that he would eventually move into the afterlife and began to research a way for him to avoid a mortal fate.

He carefully sought out the resources necessary and conducted meetings and networking in order to achieve his undeath. Originally, he wanted to convert Hildrith as well, so that they could continue together for eternity, but that changed the day of his conversion. The ceremony was conducted while Hildrith was traveling on another plane with minions whose knowledge of the ceremony was necessary in order to complete the complicated process. Uroisdeoss had ensured all aspects of the ceremony were done precisely, but he didn't realize that there were side effects of the ceremony.

As his form crumpled and eroded to be converted into his undead form, his last vision was that of his and Hildrith's brood of eggs dissolve, their life corrupted and absorbed into the magical corruption that were used to create his new form. When he awoke again, he realized that he not only destroyed his original form, but destroyed his children in the process.

Uroisdeoss tried to find a way to undo what had happened, he tried for weeks to frantically return his brood and with each hour his sanity continued to erode into grief and sadness.

When Hildrith returned, reality collapsed around them both. Hildrith, stunned to find not only her children obliterated and consumed by her now undead mate, she stood in stunned silence in their shared lair. Her love, her mate, the sire to her brood, hid in the depths of the lair, wallowing in his own corrupted desolation. Only his bright green hellfire eyes visible in the gloom of the shadows.

Minutes later, Hildrith finally snapped. She attacked Uroisdeoss is a complete rage, having finally accepted the loss of everything she had ever cared about. Uroisdeoss fled without fighting back into the night. Now, centuries later, he still flees the wrath of Hildrith.
