Ukran the Old One

In the wake of The Reconveyance, when the very fabric of Gallidion trembled with the breaking of planar bindings, Ukran emerged from the cosmic tumult that birthed a newly formed crater. Hailing from the Far Realm, a realm of withering flesh and elder evils, Ukran's entry into Gallidion marked the beginning of a malevolent presence that would weave its sinister influence across the world.   The Far Realm, a timeless and eldritch expanse, gave birth to Ukran with a conscious awareness unparalleled by mortal standards. The creature arrived in Gallidion, drawn to the chaos and instability unleashed by the Reconveyance. As the land settled around the new crater, Ukran, a being beyond the comprehension of most, began its exploration of this unfamiliar realm.   In the newly formed tunnels and caverns surrounding the crater, Ukran discovered a plethora of creatures investigating the aftermath of the cosmic upheaval. Wasting no time, it began a methodical process of assimilation, taking individuals—be they people or monsters—and absorbing their memories. Each absorbed essence added to Ukran's vast repository of knowledge, a genetic memory that spanned countless ancestors and ages.   In its relentless pursuit of control, Ukran encountered Fran the Sea Witch, a formidable wizard specializing in water magic. Rather than face the usual struggle against resistance, Ukran found a willing and complicit slave in Fran. Promising to reveal the hidden depths of sea magic found only in the Far Realm, Ukran enticed Fran into servitude. This marked a unique and intriguing turn of events for Ukran, as it experienced the novelty of a servant who willingly embraced its influence.   Ukran, possessing both extreme cruelty and profound intelligence, wielded its formidable powers with a sinister grace. Its genetic memory, a repository of secrets and ancient knowledge, made it a deadly predator with an uncanny understanding of its adversaries' weaknesses. The creature, born fully aware and carrying the memories of its ancestors, stood as a testament to the longevity of its kind.   Ukran, among the first beings in existence, viewed all things as its rightful domain. Its loathing for land-dwelling creatures ran deep, and it reveled in asserting dominance over the realms it considered its own. While utterly self-centered, Ukran possessed a calculated discernment, refraining from attacking foes on land if it deemed such encounters disadvantageous.   The presence of similarly powerful mind flayers unsettled Ukran. Despite its vast knowledge, the origins of the mind flayers remained elusive, stirring a disquiet within the creature. This unease, born from the unknown, prompted Ukran to exercise caution in its dealings with the mind flayers, recognizing them as formidable entities deserving of respect.   As Ukran continued to weave its malevolent influence across Gallidion, the world bore witness to the unfolding tapestry of its dominion. From the Far Realm's abyssal depths to the lands of Gallidion, Ukran's tendrils extended, leaving an indelible mark on the world shaped by cruelty, cunning, and the ancient echoes of its forebears. The tale of Ukran, a creature beyond mortal comprehension, continued to unfold, casting a shadow that spanned both realms and realities.
