Thrinian the Sly (Three-nee-ann)
The inherent magics of warlock typically do not allow for a reputation for studious magics, however Thrinian never allowed his ability to harness the eldritch magics to prevent his curious nature from acquiring knowledge. Known for his impressive personal library of tomes, writes, books and scrolls; over the decades he was able to acquire information that rivaled most educated wizards.
His penchant for learning was seen so extensively, that The Enclave was rumored to have laced his dinner ale with with a poison that removed his sight; forever barring him from reading the books he had acquired.

Personal history
Thrinian's thirst for knowledge was as boundless as the abyss from which he drew his eldritch powers. While most warlocks spent time on honing their dark arts, Thrinian dedicated his long nights to collecting and studying ancient writings, mythological treatises, and arcane lore. His endeavors led to the creation of a vast library that rivaled even the most dedicated wizards' sanctums. In the eyes of The Enclave, a coalition of learned mages and sorcerers, Thrinian's accumulation of knowledge posed a threat — or possibly an unwelcome competition. Their envy came to a nefarious fruition, as they poisoned him with a concoction that robbed him of his sight, seeking to sever his connection to his research. Yet, undeterred by his blindness, Thrinian continues, persevering in his quest for knowledge, seeking methods to adapt his senses, and perhaps to exact subtle revenge upon those who wronged him. His goals are as layered as the pages of his books: to continue expanding his knowledge, to master his sensory deprivation, and to somehow make his library accessible once again.
Intellectual Characteristics
Insatiably curious and erudite, Thrinan possesses a quiet, composed demeanor, often lost in thought. His tone is one of soft-spoken intellect, with a hint of melancholy stemming from his affliction.
