Thistle Thornfoot is a wiry gnome with a keen gaze and a perpetually furrowed brow. He dresses in practical, earth-toned clothing that allows him to blend into his surroundings, and his trusty longbow is never far from his reach. A shortsword hangs at his belt, ready to be drawn at a moment's notice. Despite his small stature, Thistle moves with a quiet confidence, his senses always alert to the slightest hint of danger.

Thistle Thornfoot was born into a modest family of farmers in the arid city of Syom'skit'ngthefl, nestled amidst the sands of Gallidion. From a young age, Thistle showed a remarkable affinity for nature and animals, spending his days exploring the vast desert landscapes and tending to the family's crops and livestock. Despite the harshness of their surroundings, Thistle's childhood was filled with laughter and joy, surrounded by the love and support of his family.
As Thistle grew older, his bond with nature only deepened, as he spent more and more time wandering the desert wilderness, studying the plants and animals that called it home. He learned to track animals, identify edible plants, and navigate the treacherous terrain with ease, honing his skills as a hunter and survivalist. With each passing day, Thistle felt a sense of peace and belonging in the natural world, finding solace in its simplicity and beauty.
It was during one of his solitary expeditions into the desert that Thistle first encountered the legendary Ranger, Captain Thaddeus Gearspark, who had made a name for himself as a hero of the city. Impressed by Thistle's keen instincts and intimate knowledge of the wilderness, Captain Gearspark extended an offer to join his expedition into the desolate wastelands of Gallidion, promising adventure and excitement beyond imagination. Intrigued by the prospect of exploring uncharted territories and facing the dangers of the wild, Thistle accepted without hesitation, eager to put his skills to the test.
Joined by a band of intrepid adventurers, Thistle embarked on a journey into the heart of the desert, braving sandstorms, scorching temperatures, and deadly creatures in search of ancient ruins and lost treasures. Along the way, he forged deep bonds of friendship and camaraderie with his fellow travelers, united by a shared love of adventure and exploration. Together, they faced countless trials and tribulations, overcoming every obstacle with courage and determination. They have travelled long enough, that Thistle sees these youngsters as kin even though they sometimes are too reliant on civilization. He'll just teach 'em right.
