The Pale

To those foolish enough to travel past the known lands and continue south into the bleak expanse of ocean; to brave the treacherous waves, sealife and aquatic dangers; to persevere through starvation, hardship and pure tests of constitution; those voyagers could potentially finally see the bright lines of The Pale, an ice and snow wasteland covering the southern pole of The World of Gallidion.

Dangers of unfathomable evil have been rumored to be entombed here as monuments to forgotten power and arrogant Gods. Some have said people have actually returned from The Pale to delivering tales of huge beasts, death and adventure. No one can remember the names of those travelers, only that they have heard the tales.
