The Crystal Gorges

The icy masses of the north are split by geothermal tributaries that enable year long passage thru the hemisphere. These warm waterways are held in check by the massively thick ice breaks driving miles deep down into the earth. Thick clouds of ice fog and sharp encrusted icicles line the pathways these water take, enabling both naval navigation and treacherous monstrosities greater access to the area.

The masters of the area are known as The Pale Folk and do not take lightly to intruders within their domain.
