The Bloom of Zuggtmoy

Given as a gift to one of her most devout leaders, this mace glows green and sickly when wielded by someone with enough force of personality to demand the subjugation of its power.

D20 Roll Group Summoned
1-10 Goblin Raiders (CR 1)
11-13 Random Lycanthrope (CR 3-5)
14-16 Restless Undead/Wraith (CR 5)
17 Serial Killer/Assassin (CR 8)
18-19 Horned Devil (CR 11)
20 Vampire (CR 13)
Force of Will
To even grasp the mace, one must first pass a DC 20 (DC 15 for devout) Charisma check if not already attuned to the weapon. Failing the check, the individual takes both 4d8 force and 4d8 necrotic damage. The person is also flung 15 feet away from the weapon as it openly rejects the weak-willed individual.
Singular Purpose
Only the devout of Zuggtmoy can properly wield the mace without worry of controlling the summoned creatures from its dimensional beacon. If wielded by someone not wholly devout to Zuggtmoy, when a creature is summoned, that creature will not be under the control of the wielder.

Yeastly Kiss
On a critical hit, the mace blesses those that are struck with the kiss of Zuggtmoy. The party damaged in this way is now contaminated with a sickly fungal infection that will begin to convert them into a myconoid, or the Children of Zuggtmoy over the next two weeks. At first, the person gains a greenish-yellow tint to their skin. Their sweat turns milky and cloudy and drips with greater surface tension. A musty odor begins to emanate from their body as they are slowly corrupted and devoured from the inside. Only a remove curse or greater spell will remove this corruption and only if done within the first week of taint.
Dimensional Anchor
The devout of Zuggtmoy who wield this mace can utilize its greatest feature, that of the dimensional anchor. After activating this feature, the wielder must maintain concentration for one minute. After this time, they may drop the anchor which fixes itself to a spot just above the ground and becomes immovable by any force other than a wish spell. Only those successfully passing the charisma check or whom are attuned with the weapon can move it, which starts the process over. Once anchored to the ground, the mace creates a dimensional beacon calling for the members of the Despoiled of Bhaal to return to service. Every 5 rounds, the mace then summons one of the despoiled.
