Ludan's Everflowing Tea Pouch


Ludan was able to utilize his connection with the earth element to call forth and manipulate the base components held within the pouch to whatever variety of tea he desired. This enabled him to not only carry with him a vast multitude of tea types from his century long travel, but also varieties he knew were capable of medicinal and magical properties.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Anyone attuned to the pouch may make an appropriate knowledge check to call forth any variety of tea that have experienced before. Additionally, they may call upon specific types of teas Ludan bound to the pouch. If the check is failed, roll randomly on the table below.

If a tea grants you the ability to cast spells, your spellcasting ability is Wisdom if you do not already have one.

Drinking a different tea immediately ends the previous effects. Only one effect may be active at any given time.      
Jasmine Jasmine tea calms the mind and body. When drunk, it cures the frightened condition, and grants you advantage on saving throws against being frightened for the next hour. 1
Spearmint Spearmint tea helps your body restore its chemical balance. When drunk, you gain advantage on Constitution checks and saving throws for the next hour. 2
Chamomile Chamomile tea relieves troubled stomachs. When drunk, it cures the poisoned condition and renders you immune to being poisoned or taking poison damage by ingesting food or drink for the next hour. 3
Frostlily Frostlily tea chills the drinker's core, steeling them against cold. When drunk, you become immune to the effects of extreme cold and also become resistant to cold damage for the next 24 hours. 4
Magmire Magmire tea is foul and bitter, and causes one's skin to perspire heavily. When drunk, you become immune to extreme heat and also become resistant to fire damage for the next 24 hours. 5
Ember Ember tea is brewed using motes of pure fire, and encourages thoughts of aggression. When drunk, you gain the ability to spit fire for the next 10 minutes, allowing you to cast the fire bolt cantrip at will for the duration. 6
Black Bitter black tea is quite potent and can jolt the mind awake. When drunk, it restores 4d6 + 4 hit points, and resuscitates you from being unconscious. 7
Nondra Nondra is a rare leaf prized by diviners, and is said to open one's mind to cosmic energies. When drunk, nondra tea grants you truesight for the next hour. 8
Silver Needle Silver Needle tea has a smooth and creamy texture, and is said to expand one's mind. When drunk, you regain 3 ki points, or 3 levels of spell slots distributed in however manner you wish. 9
Saltpeter Unlike its real counterpart, gunpowder tea is distilled with legitimately explosive black gunpowder. When drunk, it combusts within your stomach, enabling you to belch out an explosive projectile identical to the fireball spell. It loses potency one hour after being drunk or when the spell is cast. 10
Hearth Cherry Hearth cherry tea is renowned for its healing properties. When drunk, you regain 3d6 hit points, and cures any diseases. 11
Rockroot Due to the circumstances of its application, rockroot tea is more commonly splashed onto people rather then imbibed. When applied, you become cured of the petrified condition. 12
Windblend Windblend tea is light and frothy. When drunk, your weight is reduced to half its normal value for the next hour. In addition, you take half damage from falling and always land on your feet. 13
Maple Seed Maple Seed tea induces intense energy spikes. When drunk, your movement speed increases by 15 feet for the next 10 minutes. 14
Cacao Cacao tea causes your body to violently reboot all of its sensory systems. When drunk, you are cured of the blinded and deafened conditions. 15
Kanlir Kanlir tea sobers the mind, and shakes oneself out of even deep swoons. When drunk, you are cured of the charmed condition and become immune to intoxication for the next 24 hours. 16
Moon Blossom Moon blossom tea enhances one's natural radiance and beauty, and is a popular pick-me-up in noble households. For the next eight hours, you are considered proficient in Persuasion and Performance checks if you are not already proficient. 17
Oak Bark Oak Bark tea toughens your skin. When drunk, you gain resistance to nonmagical slashing, bludgeoning, and piercing damage for the next 10 minutes. 18
Gibbering Gibbering tea is brewed from the runoff of a gibbering mouther or floater. Stomaching this foul liquid requires a DC(17) Constitution check. When successfully drunk, your mind's understanding of language rapidly balloons, granting the ability to understand and speak all languages, written or spoken, for the next 72 hours. Regardless of ability check, the aftertaste cannot be removed for the 72 hours. 19
Soul Strand Soul Strand tea is a forbidden brew, crafted from corporealizing a person's very soul and teasing it out into physical threads; It is said that such a concoction grounds oneself in the corporeal world, and intensifies the senses. When drunk, you are rendered immune to effects that can forcibly send you to another plane, such as the banishment spell for the next month. Additionally, whenever you are projecting yourself out of your body, such as with the astral projection spell, the silvery cord connecting your soul to your body cannot be cut except by dieties, greater demons, or other epic level beings. 20

Raw materials & Components
This belt pouch appears to be made of supple dark leather with a small metal latch.
Each type of tea may be called only once per day. The small pouch resets daily at noon.
