Aunt Agnes

Aunt Agnes is one of the members of the Coven of the Black Mother. Formed with the current hags over a decade ago to promote the Lady of Rot's agenda, Agnes settled in the deep southwestern wilds of the Eastwoods. Beginning to lay out her plans and the plans of her sisters, she has always looked at the long game and thinks nothing of investing her time and efforts into creating infections that won't pay off for years or decades.
One of those examples was 13 years ago when she first arrived in the area. After scouting out the major towns and understanding the major players, she selected a young couple were near the end of their pregnancy. On the night of the birth of their daughter, she stood invisibly in the room and watched the mother deliver her infant daughter. As Yelli nuzzled her little girl, Agnes appeared swiftly and ruptured her womb, killing Yelli. She then quickly consumed the baby, corrupting it and remolding it into what would become her own daughter. Birthing the girl quickly after, she placed the normal looking baby in the arms of Yelli and watched invisibly as her husband burst into the room and relished in his sorrow.
Aunt Agnes visited the family and their potion shop regularly over the years, watching the girl grow and seeing her investment getting closer to fruition. Like a fine alcohol, the situation aged day by day; the father doting on the young girl with his love growing and pouring forth. She hoped one day, she would be able to watch her father weep in sorrow, watch his misery build and his heart break, just before being destroyed by the little girl.
Years later nearing the 13th birthday of the girl, Aunt Agnes returned to use the girls blood as a sacrament to Zuggtmoy. Requiring the 'lifeblood of the coven', this was a fortunate happenstance as Granny Gertrude, Aunt Agnes and Sister Abigail would not be required to sacrifice of themselves. The ceremony was a success, with Renee successfully becoming the container for the avatar. However, adventurers attempting to rescue Renee attacked the group during the ceremony, killing the hags and while not able to save the young girl, prevented the avatar's power from growing on this plane.
