Personal history
Sophia was not born of happy circumstances. She was the long run ancestor of a illegitimate son of Henry VIII. Her family though respected was not very powerful or very rich but, what they were powerful in their own right. Sophia came from a family of notable alchemists so it wasn't surprising she had an awakening. Sophia awakened as an Obrimos mage able to bend and control the very fabric of the world around her. This gift came in handy she used this gift to climb through the ranks even getting appointed as Duchess of Norfolk and Sophia found out that she was quite skilled in it. She was a master mage at a young age.
Sophia then met Arthur, a man who shared her ability and passion for spellcraft. The two fell in love and at the age of 20 they were married. Sophia went and continued her study and that was noticed by the silver ladder. They asked her to join and she respectfully declined. Arthur around the same time was offered a position in the Guardian's of the Veil and he said yes. This was the first of many of their differences. Arthur believed that humans didn't know how to wield magic yet, they weren't ready to welcomed into the world of magic yet but, Sophia on the other hand disagreed. She was a mage and a proud one. She went back to the Silver Ladder and joined them on the spot.
She rose through the ranks acquiring the rank of Lichter this rank meant she would enforce the laws created by the ladder on it's member. those found breaking the laws she would punish. Arthur and her soon had to part ways things were difficult for them but, they kept in touch. She currently acts as an adviser to the crown.
She ended up in boston chasing after Arthur's killers but, after she discovered he was still alive she then had a new goal of hunting him down. She was able to use magic to assist the group multiple points in time.
during the battle of boston she made the fortress and the armed knights that fought against william's forces.
after the battle she was sent to negotiate on behalf of the mages for the new camerila. She would remarry arthur and become a teacher at the academy before giving birth to her twin children and dying.

Relationships
History
Sophia and Arthur dated when they met at a meeting of mages in London. They were fast friends and were quickly engaged and married. Things turned sour when Arthur took a job with the Guardian's of the veil and Sophia took up with the Silver Ladder. The two began to disagree politically and separated fro a time and soon divorced.
