Personal history

Richard was born in the Americas to a tripe of natives. his tribe respected and revered him for his ability to turn into a wolf at a young age. His tribe would be wiped out by some colonists but, he would be saved by Ivan. When this happened he pledged his support to Ivan. Ivan would help support and even raise Richard like his son.
He became close with Victoria even thinking of her as his sister. When he turned 17 he was actually taken by a group of wolves. He would grow close to his captors and even think of them as his friends and even family. Though when a plot hatched by another wolf went horribly wrong Richard fled and was rescued by Ivan again and returned again to the mansion. His relationship with Victoria wouldn't recover.
Richard would do whatever he needed to do to stay with Ivan and his family. he took to the streets and became involved in the Boston underbelly, this made him prone to getting into some fights. One of these fights lead a battered and beaten Richard to the home of Selene. She mended him up and set him on his way and since then he has gone out of his way to protect her often scaring off any patrons that give her trouble
Richard served on and continued to investigate William during his rise to power and still kept tabs on selene. during the fourth of July he watched selene get killed by Ivan but, Victoria saved her telling him to leave Boston and not to return. He did that and lived his days peacefully until his death in 1812
