Lehmann Hunt Society

This Coterie, named after its now passed founder, is supposedly a hunting club for Kindred. It's stated purpose is to hunt and slay creatures of the night who poses a proper challenge even to the Kindred. In truth, there are rarely enough creatures in the Shadow Republic to keep them busy all year and the members have to find other ways to sate their taste for adventure and thrills. While this usually means the members socialize and hold gatherings for entertainment, they occasionally do find out about a creature worthy of their hunt and, when they do, they eagerly arrange one.
The Coterie is split into two factions; Those who use it as a political connection club and those who are genuinely dedicated to hunting. The latter often looks down on the former, but they still enjoy the influence that comes with membership from powerful political figures and as such, seldom do much more than grumble about it.
Newer members, called Rousters, are often hazed and sent through humiliating rituals before being given proper admittance, upon which they find that the Lehmann Hunt Society offers plenty in connections, prestige and favor trading.
This Coterie is for the Kindred for whom the thrill of the hunt and the knowledge that Final Death can come at any time is not a deterrent, but a sweet promise, for those for whom staring into the eyes of an enemy is the only time undeath offers a sense of living again.
