To some, vi Compendiana Praetoria is a chronicle of glorious triumphs in an arcane crusade; to others, it is the chilling testament of genocidal zealots. But one truth remains - no matter who possesses it, it is always in the wrong hands.

Cursed Knowledge

vi Compendiana Praetoria holds the entire history of the Holy Praetoria, each page a recollection of events, important figures, and testaments of the paladin order's crusade against everything the Weave touches. It details as far back as the Elemental War, the crux of why the Praetoria formed, to as soon as the recent attack on Elgus just two months prior. As many entries as there are legible, there are redacted. Any trace of insubordination, desertion, or hypocrisy that the paladin order deems severe enough to outway its glory is striken from the tome's record. Three such records of note are ex-Knight Commanders Loghain and Geoffrey Tavinter and Culkitath R'hoqull, former Scion of Grand Sanctifier Malachi.
