Veilmar Castle lies off the coast of the southern Jhornan port town of Aramore. The fortress is surrounded by treacherous waters and dangerous rocky outcroppings, making unauthorized approach nearly impossible. All non-Praetorian ships navigating these waters must pass through inspection checkpoints, ensuring the Order has total control of supplies arriving by sea.Unwilling Volunteers
Rumors abound that transport vessels ferry prisoners from Aramore's jails to Veilmar Castle under the cover of darkness. A mysterious half-elven man, clad in dark clerical Praetorian robes, is said to always accompany these ships. The Departed have deduced that this man is a Grand Sanctifier, but what that entails remains a mystery.Blessed by the Lord
The castle itself is overseen by a Knight Commander and a Grand Sanctifier. Within its walls, sinister experiments are conducted, centered around a mysterious substance known as the "Lord's Blessing," the nature and purpose of which remain shrouded in secrecy.Siege of the Unknown
Following a treacherous journey at sea during an unrelenting storm, the Departed have made landfall at Veilmar Castle. Dark forces beyond anything they have encountered lurk within the walls, but so do their entrapped allies. They brave the unknown, meeting fear itself in ominous forms.
