The Sight

Dragonsight, otherwise known as "the Sight," is an ancient myth of draconic ascension for both mind and body. It states that those blessed with the Sight are revealed inconceiveable knowledge of the universe: a dragon's soul exists in multiple worlds.

Path to Ascension

Due to their centuries-long lifespans and vast accumulations of knowledge and wealth, the Sight is most pronounced among ancient dragons, beings already possessing immense wisdom and power. However, a dragon gifted (or some might say burdened) with the Sight often shows extraordinary potential even in its early years, sometimes manifesting before hatching from the egg. Among dragonkind, only a select few are believed to inherit the Sight, and fewer still choose to nurture and expand this innate ability into something... greater.

Apotheosis

If a dragon fully embraces the Sight, it undergoes apotheosis, elevating its physical form to rival that of a god. These dragons reach the pinnacle of their life cycle, rightfully earning the title "Greatwyrms." Many among dragonkind worship these Greatwyrms as living gods, a misconception that the wisest dragons know couldn't be further from the truth.
