Tamara, the Lifeweaver

"You are sure this is what you want? They will know. All of them. Sooner or later, they will come for you. For all of us."
-Tamara to the Departed, before resurrecting Lord Argen with her limited control of the Sight
Tamara, the Azovarian deity of life, is far more than the blind child she chooses to appear as. Her influence extends across Azovar, a beacon of hope and healing in a world often shadowed by strife. As a concept, her presence is felt in every corner of the land, with countless healers drawing upon her benevolence to mend the wounded and comfort the afflicted. The truly brave take their devotion to a higher level, zealously swearing oaths or dedicating their lives to Tamara's merciful cause, defying the oppressive anti-magic dogma of the fearsome Praetoria. Clerics, Paladins, and other ardent followers of Tamara embody her teachings of universal mercy, healing the sick and tending to the wounded with unwavering compassion, regardless of past sins or transgressions.

The Lifeweaver

During her great wyrm ascension, Tamara swore an oath of passivity, a transformation bestowed upon her by the god Bahamut himself. In exchange for divine power just beyond the reach of the platinum dragon's own abilities, Tamara is bound to watch over the lives of all dragons. From the first breath of life to the final sigh of death, the Lifeweaver's blessing is shared equally among dragonkind and her most devoted followers. In death, Tamara guides all dragons to their final rest, whether their passing comes timely or unexpectedly. Her presence is a comforting constant, a divine hand ensuring that no dragon faces the end alone. Tamara’s watchful gaze sees all, a testament to her eternal vow and unwavering compassion for her kin.

Tamara's Sight

Long ago, a silver dragon was born with the rare and coveted blessing of the Sight. Her existence revolved around a singular goal: to harmonize with this gift and ascend as a great wyrm. In time, she achieved this lofty aspiration, her Sight fully manifesting and granting her unfathomable power. From the celestial realm of Elysium, the Lifeweaver descended, eager to impart her wisdom and teachings. Harnessing her profound connection with the Sight, Tamara extended her influence, breaching the barriers between worlds with her draconic echoes. One such world to feel her touch was Azovar, where her insight spread, illuminating minds and souls. Through her divine guidance, the teachings of the Lifeweaver permeated the realms, fostering enlightenment and unity among all who embraced her vision.

A Young Echo

It is known that time weaves differently across the many planes of the material world. Yet, only the gods grasp the deeper truth: time not only bends but breaks between universes. For a dragon blessed with the Sight, one might achieve ancient status centuries before an echo in another universe even hatches as a wyrmling. Such is the case with the Tamara echo encountered by the Departed—a mere youngling endowed with a limited connection to the Sight.
