Silver Dragons

Silver dragons, or "silvers" called amongst other dragonkin, are majestic and benevolent creatures native to the world of Azovar. These metallic dragons are known for their wisdom, integrity, and their tireless dedication to preserving peace and order in the world. They are one of the five main metallic dragon types, each representing different aspects of good and protection.

Silver Majesty

Many believe these creatures to be among the most beautiful of their kind. They possess sleek, sinuous bodies covered in shimmering, silver-colored scales that glisten like polished metal. Their eyes are typically a bright shade of blue, radiating intelligence and kindness. As they age, their scales become increasingly reflective and lustrous.

Homes Among the Icy Peaks

Silver dragons prefer to make their homes in remote and secluded regions. They are often found in snowy mountain ranges, hidden valleys, or deep within ancient ice caves. These dragons are known for their affinity with cold climates, where they can bask in the splendor of icy landscapes and crystal-clear waters.

Egg to Wyrm

The life cycle of a silver dragon is the same for all true dragons. Their sequence of life follows 4 stages: wyrmling, young, adult, and ancient. As they age, each stage grants them greater power and wisdom. Silver dragon wyrmlings are curious and adventurous, often exploring their surroundings and interacting with other creatures. Young silver dragons start to take on responsibilities as protectors of their chosen territories. They become more wise and more discerning. Adult silver dragons are formidable protectors and mentors. They are known to establish alliances with nearby settlements and offer their guidance and protection. Finally, ancient silver dragons are among the most powerful beings in the world. They have lived for centuries and are repositories of knowledge and wisdom.

Greater Still

Benevolent silvers blessed with the Sight may catch the ever-watchful eye of the Lord of Justice, Bahamut. Those graced by his majesty are given the opportunity to ascend their physical form to its pinnacle. In this deification ritual, an ancient silver dragon becomes a silver greatwyrm of pseudo-godlike power. These greatwyrms live on as the embodiment of justice and mercy for not only other silver dragons, but all dragonkind. Notable silver greatwyrms are Tamara and Lendys.
