The Order of Iron

The Order of Iron was founded by Aurelion I in 601, after nearly dying in a battle by being seperated from his men. The Order is a 100-man strong elite unit that swears fealty to the Eagle King directly. These men are hand picked in their martial capability. Many of them were soldiers that have shown bravery, skills and selflessness. These men guard the Eagle King and follow him into battle.

Structure

The unit is lead by the Eagle King himself. The head of The Order, when the King isn't present, is the Captain. He is often an advisor to the King and the one elected by the members of The Order itself and approved by the King.

History

The Order of Iron was founded by Aurelion I in 601. But, actually the unit wasn't brought into action a year later because the men had to be trained. They were picked from the best fighters from the armies. Still, they were rigorously trained on top of that. Many failed the tests and returned to their army. Those that succeeded were gifted silver-colored armor, a royal blue cape and a sword to be called theirs. Ever since they have defended the Kings and Vadaton. When a member dies, training of a few individuals begins and the best from them will be enlisted in The Order.
