Eagle King
An Eagle King is the title that the King of Vadaton wears. Since Vadatonian culture is so attached to eagles, they call themselves Eagle King to signify their rightfull rule in the eyes of the Eagle Gods.
Qualifications
The title of Eagle King can only be passed on when a previous Eagle King has died. Unless told otherwise, the title will be bestowed upon his firstborn son and rightfull heir.
Requirements
Before the Eagle King can be named, he must face the trials and tribulations of The Eagle Gods. The Way of The King. He must train an alpha horse, complete training at the top of Zysal Mountain and complete the Third Step. Once that is completed, the heir can be named Eagle King in Dawndale.
Duties
The Eagle King is a faec for his people. He leads his troops into battle and will go on diplomatic missions.
Accoutrements & Equipment
The Eagle King will inherit the items that the previous has left to him. Vorax, the sword of Kings, the armor and a golden crown.
History
All Kings of Ateodal and Vadaton have carried this title until Lycaron in 904. WHen he was defeated by Vance, he lost the title, refusing to wear it. Vance did not use this title as he hated Lycaron and his father, Ateon III. He just called himself King. The title was restored when Lycaron and his army defeated Vance. Lycaron did not wear the title. Agron IV, Lycaron's son, named himself Eagle King in 909.
