Humans, though arguably neither the most intelligent or strongest species, are the most common sapient inhabitants of the land. What they lack in relative physical and cultural sophistication, they make up for in individual diversity and ambition.

Average Technological Level

As humans do not have as much inherent magic as many of their peers, they have made use of technology more than most. Though they are now widespread, many modern technological developments such as the lock and many of the practical handheld lanterns, as well as many improvements on preexisting technologies have been invented by humans.

The native language of most humans is Common , though many are fluent in at least one other language due to their regular interactions with other sapient species.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Humans can get along with members of almost every species. They tend to take notice of the strengths of other species and attempt to use that information to form friendly relationships. However, this is not true of every human as there are many who hold individual prejudices for various reasons.
