Common is the most widespread language on the material plane. It is used in almost every civilized area that has common interactions with humans.

Syntax

The parts of speech required to form a grammatically correct sentence in common are a subject and a verb, with other parts such as objects, adjectives, and adverbs used to create more complex sentences. To identify parts of speech in common, one must look to the location of the words in the sentence. For example, in the sentence "Aaron pet the dog", Aaron is the subject and the dog is the object. Switching the location of these two nouns in the sentence would result in a completely different meaning: "The dog pet Aaron", which doesn't make any sense. For people whose native language uses the conjugation system, this is initially usually a difficult concept to grasp.
