A common saying in Sundia, which means a thing or idea that is alien, strange or incomprehensible.

An old name for a sub-order of warlocks within the Order of the Knights of Carmine

Installation

(of the priesthood) The tests and rituals undergone by a person in the final stage of becoming a priest/priestess of a Temple of of one of the Gods (of the Pantheon of Fourteen Gods worshipped most commonly in the southern and eastern continent)

The Jikotar-Ato

The ancient name for the confluence of two rivers - The Yorba and The River Maron- whereupon forms the river called The Luhain; also called the Place of Three; in modern times the place and the shipping port located there are called Afre's Landing.

Novice

A person in the first stage of becoming a priest/priestess of a Temple of one of the Gods (of the Pantheon of Fourteen Gods worshipped most commonly in the southern and eastern continent a person engaged in the Novitiature period of study.  

Novitiate

A person who has successfully passed the tests and rituals at the end of the Novitiature, and has passed to the second stage of becoming a priest/priestess of a Temple of of one of the Gods (of the Pantheon of Fourteen Gods worshipped most commonly in the southern and eastern continent)  

Novitiature

The first period of study and learning undertaken by a person who wishes to become a priest/priestess of a Temple of one of the Gods (of the Pantheon of Fourteen Gods worshipped most commonly in the southern and eastern continent)

Papavert

A plant grown primarily in the eastern Lands which is burnt and the smoke inhaled, which in turn produces euphoria of the mind and pleasurable feelings of the body; but over-indulgence in the practice leads to unyielding craving and enslavement of thought and will; also called "the weed" of "creeper"; it is a tiny vine with tiny green flowers that creeps along the ground or mounts bushes and shrubs.

Unity of Ohi-Miri

The confluence of three rivers within the Yorba forests; here also is situate the great forest city of Abikanga-Jwe, and Royal Stool of the Duchy of Abikanga, the seat of power from which the Dukes of Abikanga rule the forest people.

An old name for the islands of the Dryman Sea which are nowadays called The Havens
