Compounds

Alchemical compounds are magical chemical substances that can have various effects when applied to creatures, weapons, or materials. These compounds are hard to find outside of specialized alchemist stores.
Characters that are proficient with Alchemist's tools can convert their magical materials into compounds. This requires a set of alchemist's tools and proficiency in those tools, a safe location to work uninterupted during crafting, a material of the corresponding rarity and funds to craft the compound. Some compounds require specific materials. If so, these materials are noted in the compound list. If no material is listed, any material of that rarity can be used to craft that compound.
