Vide
Vide [he/him] is the previous Traveler of Denduron and former master of Aromanir. He dies during a mission to discover what the Milago may be planning for Denduron, disguised as a quest to gather rare cooking ingredients for a Bedoowan feast.
Despite living among the Bedoowan, Vide was Novan. The man was an avid cook, a skillset he used to gain entrance to the Bedoowan castle. It was in said castle where he served as kitchen staff, eventually meeting and fostering Aromanir.
Vide sought to understand the lost pillars of magic. After the destruction of Oldest Earth, he worked with Galud (the former Traveler of New Earth) to bring the Hunter of Hunters to Denduron, where he sought to study them and their connection to the Pillar of Explosions, hoping they might be able to bring back Oldest Earth.
Vide also attempted to understand the Pillar of Binding by entering into a pact with the Raven Queen, not knowing she was the future Traveler of Quillan, Nevva Winter. Though he succeeded, this ultimately proved to be a death sentence, as Nevva told Inanna (disguised as Figgis) what was happening, allowing Inanna to warn Rellin. The Milago set a trap for Vide, and Rellin himself killed the former Traveler.
Marr is the one who taught Vide to fight, in hopes those skills would protect him as he pursued the noble mission of the Travelers but he did not take to her lessons very well. Marr took Vide's death especially hard, blaming Aromanir for selfishly pulling him away from his Traveler duties for something as unimportant as a scavenger hunt for rare cooking ingredients. In Marr's mind, Aromanir doomed the planet of Denduron, not knowing that the mission had primarily been Vide's idea as a cover to investigate Rellin and the Milago's use of Tak.
