Ironwood
Only found in the regions of extreme cold, this wood is as strong as iron. The goliath tribes have long made a niche of the trade of this resource as it is hard to harvest and work. A few of the goliath craftsmen have even found a technique to bend the wood, creating unique shapes and even powerful bows from them (short bows with the strength of longbows). Many nobles across the Wode use the amount and complexity of build for the ironwood in their homes as a status symbol.

Any non goliath tribe found trying to harvest it is seen as an act of war by the goliath tribes. Individuals found attempting to harvest it by a tribe are slain on site. Teaching the technique to an outsider is seen as unforgivable and those that have are executed, as it is one of the few laws in the tribes punishable by execution instead of banishment. The black market will not even trade in the resource as it is too easy to be caught and the risk is too great. The rogues guild even has Ana unwritten agreement with the tribes to honor the tribes monopoly on the resouce in order to be allowed to have normal treatment in their lands.
