Dverrian

Along the Dagger Sea, a large fortress holds a prominent place upon a hill. It has a sheltered port and a sprawling barracks.  Originally built before the void war, portions of its walls have survived all the world's calamities.  It originally sat upon a hill near a river, but was moved to its current local during the Sundering.  It was rebuilt and the port section was added to it.  The people who now claim the fort, mainly use it as an intimidation tactic, as it's walls have never been breached by mortal hands.  Several of the goliath clans return here every other season to winter, refortify the structure and meet with other clans.  Two clans are always selected to stay through the seasons to man the fortress, but they rotate which clans.  The oldest elder currently in the fortress sits upon its throne, but concils with the other elders before making major decisions.

Points of interest

The hall is where the goverment seat is and is a massive dinning hall.  The chains are a series of massive chains that lay on the sea floor but can be pulled taught within minutes to stop sea vessels trying to enter the sheltered port.  The outcasts is a section of town where unwanted foreigners and those banished by clans and dishonored are allowed to reside.  Those that are unclanned are treated like lepers by the clanned section of the populace.  They can only regain clan status by dying in battle to protect a clan.
