Zombie

Zombies are simply bodies of the dead that have been reanimated by magic.
Complete resurrection is impossible; these dead bodies are not brought back to life at all, they are just lifeless puppets fueled by magic for a specific purpose. It is easier to reanimate the recently dead, but powerful witches/necromancers or a coven could possibly reanimate corpses that have been dead longer, so long as there is still something to reanimate.
The corpse is mindless, has no soul/spirit, and no connection or memory to its former life.
