Ban Glean

Ban Glean is a city to the southwest of the capital. It was once the home of the Dun Banner, a light cavalry unit, dashing in their cloaks and beaver fur hats. The unit was famous for their brave action at the Battle of Brenna. Unfortunately, while leading the Kaedweni army into battle once again, the unit was shattered by the sorceress Sabrina Glevissig, former adviser to King Henselt.

Ban Gleán or Ban Gleann (Elder Speech: Lower Village) is a city in the south of Kaedwen, just north of the Pontar river. The nearest larger cities to the south are Hagge, Gulet, and Vengerberg.
It also boasts a fortress, guarded by the Dun Banner, an elite light cavalry brigade in the Kaedwenian Army. These soldiers all trained and lived in Ban Gleán, fighting in the Second Northern War.
