Avalonian Knightly Orders
Hit the worst by the shattering, the knightly orders were demolished when their kingdom sunk into the abyss. ‘The West’ doesn’t exist any longer. When the land was shattered Avalon was destroyed and what remains of the knights were scattered across the other spires. You could might meet a knight anywhere. Most knights signed on with gunsmiths on their respective spires, or if they were very fortunate, signed on with an Avalonian gunsmith who survived the shattering. The Yellow Knights (Once the Lions of Lady Liberty) are the most populous, but many other orders exist. Knights are often armed with Ladies (Smithed Guns) and full plate, making them terrifying to the average citizen.

Public Agenda
The Yellow Knights are known for being basically mercenaries - so Knights are not known for their valor, but rather considered to have no honor - encountering a knight with honor would be a rarity. Knights are considered scum, but dangerous scum. This is of course, not true of all knights.
Assets
Heavy armor, the backing of a gunsmith, funding from local geopolitical entities, and smithed guns.
History
Knightly orders were a major part of Avalonian life, but most of their traditions are not well known outside of the orders, and even within the orders such histories are beginning to fade.
